MarbleOS

Privacy Policy

Last updated April 26, 2026

MarbleOS (“MarbleOS,” “we,” “us”) builds desktop software and the marbleos.com website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We try to keep this short and readable. If something here is unclear, email miguel@withmarble.ai and we’ll explain.

Information we collect

  • Waitlist email. When you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can contact you about MarbleOS availability.
  • Download metadata. When you download the desktop app, our hosting provider logs standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for abuse prevention and bandwidth accounting.
  • App diagnostics. The desktop app may send anonymous crash reports and basic usage metrics (e.g. version, OS, feature events) so we can fix bugs and improve the product. These reports do not include the contents of your files.
  • Account information. If you create a MarbleOS account, we store your email, authentication credentials, and any preferences you set.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising models.

How we use it

  • To operate, secure, and improve MarbleOS.
  • To send you product updates, release announcements, and responses to questions you send us.
  • To diagnose crashes and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to run MarbleOS. Each receives only the data needed to provide its service:

  • Supabase — database and authentication for the waitlist and accounts.
  • Google Cloud Storage — hosting of installer downloads.
  • Vercel — hosting of marbleos.com.

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and may process data outside your country of residence.

Cookies and analytics

marbleos.com uses minimal first-party cookies needed for the site to function. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep waitlist emails until MarbleOS is generally available or until you ask us to remove them. Account data is retained while your account is active. Diagnostic logs are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing miguel@withmarble.ai. You can opt out of product emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in line with applicable law.

Children

MarbleOS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as MarbleOS evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app.
